Capital City update to Triple Town

We are proud to announce the Capital City expansion to Triple Town on Facebook and Google+! We’ve been hard at work on this for months, so we really hope you like it. 🙂

Your capital city is the permanent heart of your empire. You get new items for your capital city by playing classic Triple Town, and as your Capital City grows, it generates great rewards for you!

Unlike in a normal Triple Town game, which has a single possible build path (grass -> bush -> tree -> etc) there are three possible build paths in the Capital City: farming, industrial and military. Each of those build paths terminate in an ultimate building, and each of them generates different types of rewards for you over time. You can freely earn all three of the capital city item types simply by creating treasure chests or matching 4+ items in any normal game of Triple Town.

In the future, we plan to add lots of decorative options and cute animations to your Capital City to make it more alive and more interesting. In the meantime, please enjoy what we’ve released so far and let us know what you think!

I love it! Great update/upgrade to an already amazing game. Any plans on updating the mobile app to have some of the features from the FB version? Either way, I love both versions and you guys rock!

This is a wonderful layer of delicious meta-game filling on top of the bread and butter that is the standard game. I shall continue to play and pay to support your endeavours in the hopes of a second expansion with an appropriate third layer of meta-game to make the triple town sandwich!
I can only dream of a time when triple town’s data can be linked across the various devices and platforms it runs on…

Yup, we’re going to bring this to mobile as soon as we’ve worked out the kinks on the Web (and redesigned the UI to work on smaller screens…)

I would empty my wallet right now to have this on Android!
Cannot wait for the updates, keep them coming! By far one of the best games I’ve ever played.

I’m with Camilo I’m afraid. I’ve completely messed it up. Can we please have the possibility to rebuild? Please please please?

Having played the new version for a few days now, I have to say I really enjoy it. What would make it better, you ask? Why an unlimited turn version, I say! I’ve paid for this on the mobile version and I know that a lot of us would drop down a sizable chunk of money to get this. Most of all, I’d love to pay for a version like that for my mom who can’t afford the points and always gets so sad when she runs out of turns. Anyway, $10 seems like a good price for such a thing…

Please help me refresh my capitol city!
And if I can not do that, how can I get my “old” Triple town back?

Hey folks – the capital city is intended to be a permanent place that you continuously build on; there is no option to “refresh” it. If you’ve put things where you don’t want them, simply get a Crane from the store and move the item (or put it back into your inventory to free up space, which you can do anytime.)

I filled mine up the first day and then when I came back, the field was blank. So I was able to put more stuff on it, but the castle I got initially was gone, never to be seen again. But it hasn’t reset again when it’s been full, so it’s weird.
Kinda stinks, because that castle was really cool looking. Actually, all of the art is awesome. Seriously, every element from the grass to the bears to the special items is drawn perfectly. Whoever did the art design needs to do every game.

    Hi Dave,
What happens when we match 4+ capital city items? I noticed that the result looks a little different, just like a bush with berries looks different from a regular bush. Is there a benefit (like better earnings) aside from the cosmetic difference? Thanks.

I’m having trouble with the regular part of the game…where can I find information on how many things are allowed in the inventory? I removed some stuff and yet still can’t add any of the bushes/trees/etc my friends have given me.
